10.9.0 - Keepit Release Notes

We're happy to inform you about the upcoming release of Keepit 10.9.0. Please follow the release progress on the Keepit Status page.

What's new in Keepit Platform

Salesforce: Embedded image support in rich text fields

We now support images embedded in Salesforce Rich Text Fields, including JPEG, PNG, PJPEG, and GIF formats. These images are stored as Salesforce Attachments and retrieved via the REST API.

On your next full scan, any embedded images will be detected and stored. Because Attachments are not Bulk API-compatible, this may result in slower performance for that initial scan — especially for orgs with a high volume of embedded images. After this one-time sync, backup performance should return to normal unless large volumes of changes continue to occur in rich text fields.

Salesforce: Expanded support for industry clouds

As part of the continuous expansion of our coverage, we now fully support the following Salesforce industry clouds:  Communication Cloud, Consumer Goods Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, Health Cloud, Loyalty Cloud, Manufacturing Cloud, Net Zero Cloud, Public Sector Solutions Cloud. These clouds are built on standard Salesforce architecture and are now included in all backup and restore operations, ensuring data protection across more specialized environments.

Azure DevOps: Restore work items from the recycle bin

You can now restore soft-deleted work items in Azure DevOps directly from the recycle bin. These items retain their original IDs and creation dates, ensuring continuity and data integrity.
