What's new in Keepit

Enhanced user role customization

Now creating custom roles tailored to your organization's privacy policy is simpler than ever before. This gives you increased control and flexibility in the permissions you assign to specific users and gives you more options to fine-tune your access control. Available to customers on Enterprise Unlimited and Governance Plus plans.

Azure AD connector renamed to Entra ID

Microsoft has completed the renaming of Microsoft Azure Active Directory to Microsoft Entra ID. To keep the experience and naming terminology consistent for our customers, we have renamed our Azure AD connector to Entra ID. The renaming changes and new Entra ID logo have been implemented across the Keepit platform in accordance with Microsoft's new terminology.

End of support for legacy user interface

We've officially retired our legacy Keepit platform user interface. Moving forward, we will no longer be providing support for the old interface.

What's new in the PMC

Total insight into the day-to-day activity across your customer accounts

Stay informed about important updates and events in your customer accounts by customizing your message preferences. You have the flexibility to choose which messages you receive for each customer account, ensuring you stay connected to the information that matters most. In addition, you can now also control which messages your customers receive about their accounts.

Old Partner Portal and Administrator user role decommissioned

The old Partner Portal has now been decommissioned and is no longer available. The Partner Management Console (PMC) is now the default tool for our partners and offers all the capabilities and features needed.

As part of this transition, support for the Administrator role has been discontinued:

  • Partner users who were using the Administrator role and had subaccounts will be automatically migrated to the Partner Parent role
  • Partner users who were using the Administrator role without subaccounts will be automatically migrated to the Master Admin role
