We're happy to inform you about the upcoming release of Keepit 10.8.0. Please follow the release progress on the Keepit Status page.
What's new in Keepit Platform
Easily recover items with the new "Object ID" column
You can now enable a new Object ID column to help identify and trace items more precisely during backup browsing and restore. The column displays unique system identifiers (e.g.. Salesforce Record IDs or Microsoft Object IDs) making it easier to trace and recover the right items.
For clarity, the old "Name" column is now called "Display Name." The Object ID column is hidden by default (except for Salesforce and Zendesk) and can be added via column settings.
Microsoft Entra ID PIM Eligible Role Assignments now supported
We’ve added support for backing up and restoring Eligible Role Assignments as part of Microsoft Entra ID Privileged Identity Management (PIM) support.
This ensures your just-in-time (JIT) access settings are fully protected, eliminating the risk of data loss or the need to manually recreate configurations.
Restore Google Workspace files in their original formats
You can now restore Google Workspace files—including Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Apps Scripts—in their original formats instead of only generic exports like .zip or .csv. This means faster, easier, and more reliable restores that preserve your Google files' original structure and functionality.
To ensure your files are stored in their original formats and enable the new restore functionality, please reauthenticate your connectors.
What's new in PMC
Improved token management and API integration
You can now manage session tokens directly from your user account. View and delete active session tokens for yourself and other users as needed.
Additionally, we've introduced API token support for seamless API integration. Create reusable API tokens to authenticate multiple requests—simplifying the process and improving security.
