Restoring a conditional access policy will update its settings and links to existing users, groups, and roles.

Restore a conditional access policy

1. In your connector, find the conditional access policy you want to restore.
2. Optional: If you want to restore an item from an earlier point in time, open the Snapshots Viewer. Then select the appropriate snapshot.
3. Point to the item and click ••• Restore.
4. Select whether to restore missing policy users and groups.
These are included/excluded users and groups that have been deleted from the tenant. 

  • If you select Restore only this policy, click Next
  • If you select Also restore missing users and groups, click Next. Then select what users and groups to restore and click Next.
    Note: Only missing users and groups will be created. Existing users and groups will not be updated.

5. Review the summary and click Restore
