Your backup can fail for several reasons such as network issues between Keepit and your Cloud Service, an unstable Internet connection, a release rollout, or a servers reboot. You can check if the cause was related to our servers by visiting our System Status page, which lists incidents that may affect a backup. In all of these cases, you can simply wait for the next backup, which should be completed successfully.
Another reason could be that the authentication between Keepit and your Cloud Service is no longer valid. If this is the case, then you will see the message “Credentials no longer valid, please update” next to your Connector in Keepit. To re-authenticate your Cloud Connector click “update.”
There is no reason to worry if your backup fails because the next backup is already scheduled and your data will be secured soon.
