The most common reasons items are skipped during a backup are because we could not reach them due to such reasons as throttling, API failures, or inaccessibility from Google's side. The system will tag these items as skipped and try again to reach them during the next backup.

Keepit also skips items that Google marks as malware or spam and does not allow us to process.
