Keepit backs up and restores Outlook Notes (desktop version) as EML files. After you restore, you may want to create a new note and copy the text of the restored file. This will make it easier to continue working with the file.

Recreate the note from restored file:

1) Restore the note from Keepit. It will appear in your Notes as an EML file.

1) Open the EML file.

2) Copy the content of the file.

3) Create a new note.

4) Paste the content from the restored file to the new one.

Now you will be able to edit the note and continue working with it.

After you have created the new note and saved the copied content, you can delete the EML file.
