A Master Admin can view and delete active session tokens for all users on a given account.

A Master Admin can also create and delete API tokens for their user.

View session tokens

To view and manage active sessions, open the Users page and then the user's settings. The list of active sessions is found in the Security tab on the Session tokens page.

Delete session tokens

The Master Admin can delete a specific token or all tokens on their account or on all other users on the account.

To delete a token:

1. Open the Users page.

2. Select the gear icon to edit the user.

3. Select Security > Session tokens.

4. To the right of the token, select the trash can icon and then select Delete.

The authorization token is your current browser sign-in session. This token is marked with a key icon.

If you delete your authorization token, you will be signed out.

To delete your authorization token:

1. Open the Users page.

2. Select the gear icon to edit the user.

3. Select Security > Session tokens.

4. To the right of the token, select the trash can icon, and then select Delete and sign out.

To delete all tokens:

1. Open the Users page.

2. Select the gear icon to edit the user.

3. Select Security > Session tokens.

4. Select Delete all tokens, and then select Delete and sign out.
Deleting all tokens means you will also delete the authorization token you are currently signed in with.

Note: Each user (not only the Master Admin) has the option to delete all their tokens by selecting Sign out everywhere in their account info.

API Tokens

An API token is used to integrate with Keepit's API. If the user has SSO or MFA enabled, upon creating the token, the user will authenticate the session token via the corresponding method.

After an API token is created, the token receives its own set of credentials that is used to authenticate each following session.

After creation, a single API token can be used to authenticate multiple API requests.

Only the Master Admin can create an API token for their own user account.

To create an API token:

1. Open the Users page.

2. Select the gear icon to edit your user.

3. Select Security > Session tokens.

4. Select + Add API token.

5. (Optional). Enter a name for the token.

6. Select a lifetime.
The lifetime is the amount of time until the API token expires.

7. Select Create

8. Enter your password and select Confirm.

9. Copy the credentials and select OK.

Important: Store the credentials in a secure location. Once you close this window, the credentials will never be displayed again.
