Any account with the proper admin role or permissions can be used to authenticate a connector in Keepit. However, we recommend you create a dedicated account for backup.

If you do accidentally authorize a different account, you can easily reauthenticate with the proper service account.

Reauthenticate your connector

  1. On the Connectors page, select the gear icon on the connector you wish to reauthenticate.
  2. In the lower-right corner, select the reauthenticate icon.
  3. Select Authenticate to be redirected to your SaaS application.
  4. Sign in using the credentials for a different account and accept the permissions.
    You will be taken back to Keepit and the next backup will be performed using the new account.
