Any account with the proper admin role or permissions can be used to authenticate a connector in Keepit. However, we recommend you create a dedicated account for backup.
If you do accidentally authorize a different account, you can easily reauthenticate with the proper service account.
Reauthenticate your connector
- On the Connectors page, select the gear icon on the connector you wish to reauthenticate.
- In the lower-right corner, select the reauthenticate icon.
- Select Authenticate to be redirected to your SaaS application.
- Sign in using the credentials for a different account and accept the permissions.
You will be taken back to Keepit and the next backup will be performed using the new account.
