Before you create your first connector, ensure your service account meets the proper requirements. For further information, see Prepare your Microsoft 365 account.
1. On the Connectors page, select Add connector > Add Microsoft 365 сonnector.
2. Ensure that your service account is ready for the setup and click Create Connector.
3. Sign in to Microsoft with your service account.
4. Read through the permissions and click Accept.
Note: To perform a backup, Keepit needs to have access to data. Once you have signed in to your Microsoft account, Keepit will ask permission to access all users and their details. It is not possible for Keepit to back up data that the Microsoft 365 administrator account does not have access to.
5. Review the summary and the next steps, and then click Configure.
6. Configure your backup.
By default, all data areas are included in the backup.
7. To start the backup, click Start backup.
Note: If you click Complete later, your the first backup will not be scheduled. When you are ready to start the backup, open the configuration and click Start backup.
