Use the Data Protection Dashboard for a comprehensive overview of the status of your connectors, backups, and recovery jobs.

Easily filter insights by selecting specific workloads and connectors of interest.

The dashboard updates in real time, so you can view the most recent changes without needing to refresh the page.

Overview

The dashboard includes the following sections:

  • Connector Health Statuses
  • Backup Status
  • Compliance Report
  • Backup Coverage
  • Backup Integrity (coming soon)
  • Recovery Insights

Connector Health Statuses

This card provides an overview of the health status of your connectors.

When viewing all connectors, you'll see a breakdown of how many are in each health state.

For connectors in a critical state, you can select the specific connector from the dropdown to view the issue causing the critical status and find recommended actions to resolve it.

Critical connectors are marked with a red icon in the dropdown for easy identification and immediate attention.

Backup Status

These cards allow you to track your snapshots, providing details such as the time of the most recent snapshot, the number of snapshots created in the last 48 hours, and your total backup size.

Last snapshot available for restore made

This card shows when the last snapshot available for restore was created. Hover over the number to see the timestamp of the snapshot.

When viewing all connectors, hover over the card and then the info icon to see which connector the snapshot belongs to.

Successful backups made in the last 48 hours

To see the breakdown of automatic versus manual backups, hover over the card.

Total backup size

When viewing all connectors, this reflects the total size of data backed up across all connectors for the selected workload.

For individual connectors, the displayed size represents the current backup size. Hovering over the card reveals how the data size has changed between the previous and current snapshots.

Compliance Report (Microsoft 365 connectors)

This card enables you to easily generate and download compliance reports. These reports provide a detailed overview of backed-up users, SharePoint sites, and Groups & Teams within your Microsoft 365 connector.

Currently, this card is available only for Microsoft 365 connectors and supports one connector at a time. In the future, it will also support multiple connectors.

Please note that only master admins and backup admins can generate and download compliance reports.

Backup Coverage

This card offers an overview of what was backed up during a selected month. It displays the total number of units selected for backup and the number of units successfully covered.

Note: In Microsoft 365 connectors, discrepancies in the numbers may occur if users selected for backup do not have assigned licenses, as their data cannot be accessed.

Examples of units for various workloads:

  • Microsoft 365
Top-level folders, such as Exchange mailboxes and SharePoint sites
  • Entra ID
Top-level folders, such as users and groups
  • Salesforce
Items in object, metadata, attachments, and files folders
  • Google Workspace
Top-level folders, such as users and shared drives
  • Dynamics 365
Top-level folders, such as environments, accounts, contacts
  • Power BI
Top-level folders, such as workspaces and dataflows
  • Azure DevOps
Top-level folders, such as organizations and projects
  • Zendesk
Top-level folders, such as team members and tickets

Backup Integrity - Coming Soon

This feature will track items that are consistently skipped during backups.

By analyzing multiple recent snapshots (approximately the last 5 snapshots), we can identify potentially vulnerable items that may require attention. If any items are found to be repeatedly skipped, a notification will alert you that your backup coverage needs review.

You’ll also have the option to download a list of these skipped items for further analysis. If additional assistance is required, you can contact support and share the list of skipped items for review.

If no recurring skipped items are detected, this card will display the status "No issues."

Note: "Items" refer to any content type in the backup, such as folders, files, or objects.

Recovery Insights

This card shows recovery jobs from the selected time period.

Recovery job types displayed: restore (includes import jobs), item restore, ZIP download, and PST download.

You can also find a status breakdown and the success rate percentage.

Percentage of API requests used (Salesforce Connectors)

This card shows the percentage of Salesforce API requests used as well as used and remaining requests.

Stages of Initial Connector Setup

A newly created connector can have different statuses before its first backup is complete and the insights becomes available.

In these cases, we display the connector's status to help you track its progress:

Pending configuration
The backup has not started because we are waiting for the connector configuration to be saved.

Initial backup scheduled
The configuration has been saved and the first backup is been scheduled.

Initial backup in progress
The backup is running and you will be able to track its over progress.

Indexing data
The initial backup is complete, and the first snapshot has been created, but we are still indexing the data. As soon as we finish, your data will be ready for browsing and recovery.
